An exclusive is a game that i can play on my Xbox 360 and not on the Wii nor PS3, the PC is NOT a real gaming platform, nobody ever thinks "i just bought a new 52 inch HDTV, now let me WASTE my money on a super "1337" computer just to play video games hehe!" PC are not meant for games,its a second option much like phones.

This thread on it's own is a fail, but people also fail to realize that this is only a small part of the bigger picture. For example, we can do a meta-analysis using this thread and others

True exclusives
Exclusives (retail)
Exclusives (online)
Exclusives (both)
Exclusives above 80
Exclusives above 85
Exclusives above 90

When you start getting answer to all these things aspects, it starts to paint a much better picture, and this thread plays an integral role in that.

PS: all those lists have already been made on vgc too...

It's important to look at things like this because a lot of these lists that people make only show a portion of the truth. The more ways we look at something, the more complete the picture is.

If it has really more exklusives why nobody listet them ? It looks like: 48 to 26 or something for PS3. So please name the missing exclusives on Xbox 360 side I am just curios

Thanks everyone for the contributions, the thread will be updated tomorrow. I'm busy with university right now.

I know that I leaved many games out of the list from both systems but I made it from the top of my head.

I have issues with this list... a different version of the same game makes the list on one platform, but it not applicable on the other platform? The Xbox 360 version of Dead Rising is not on the Wii and anyone who actually knew wtf the Wii version was would not even bring this up. Dead Rising is an exclusive game even if not an exclusive franchise. Fuck it's not even running on the same god damn engine

In order to make sure the list is fairly balanced every Microsoft published game should be removed from the list anyway on the grounds that the company is the devil incarnate.

Xbox 360 games = Total "720 (exclusive: 117; multiplatform: 528; console exclusive: 74)"

PS3 games = Total "557 (exclusive: 159; non exclusive: 395; console exclusive: 9"

 

PS3 appears to have more exclusives, but far less gaming opportunities available to it. For Console Content Xbox360 has 720 Vs 557. Xbox360 has far more content available on it.

 

Edit: those are quotes straight off the current wiki pages, I am aware that wiki is unable to add simple maths properly.
