People are forgetting, you can use the wii wheel with Natal

do you have a link for that claim?

i know that popular consensis is that natal can handle that but I also know natal measures a 2D array of distances which means holding an object in front of you massively distorts the image natal will collect.  As far as i have seen only 1 driving game has been demoed and the wheel people where holding was imaginary.

Yeah, go look at Microsoft's E3 conference.

you're going to have to refresh my memory 'cause i did watch MS's E3 conference and I don't remember that part.  I remember milo being able to read in a picture that was held directly up to the camera, i remember the part in that video thing where the kid held up a skatboard to transfer the artwork of his real life skatboard into his game.  i remember a bunch of games like breakout and burnout that where controlled without any periphrials.  what I don't remember is any game being controlled while using a periphrial.

It's because you can use anything you want... so there's no reason you couldn't just hold the Wii wheel to drive.

Did you know see it? Cammy demonstrated it ...

I personally think that Microsoft's Natal is a killer app for the 360. Sony motion wands are just.. i dunno, awkward. They should've been gloves.

"Kojima is now talking about how this is going to be a transitional stage -- for example, some gamers might not be able to accept trying to control a driving game with a pretend steering wheel in their hands " - Damn staight. I'm very interested to see how Natal developes, but I can't see a pretend wheel being good for any driving game. And how the hell would a player be steering, gassing, braking, hand-brakeing, looking-panning with the R-stick camera, switching camera perspevtive, using the rear-view mirror cam, or even switching stuff like in-game music? Bah!

- "If you have the heart of a true winner, you can always get more pissed off than some other asshole."

If Kojima creates and amazing game using Natal I might have to get an Xbox 360 too. Right now I'm not sold on invisible steering wheels and arm flailing breakout games, but I'm definitely intrigued by what other possibilities developers may come up with. The philosophy of Natal to be controls free, but with the right peripheral a lot of games could feel more natural too.

You are a freaggin' genius... But.. why stop there?   Get the Gas, and the breaks from the PS2 driving controllers.

But, anyway, I like playing fighters, and, I'm not going to become a master in 40 different styles just to play Tekken.  Oh yeah, Tekken's gonna fail on 360.

If I'm not mistaken, can't th playstation eye already pick up people, and their movements?   PS3 is getting dreamcast games, and ps2 games over PSN, so, everyone gets something...  The Wii gets more Mario on the other hand.

The man himself said it. Natal just received the kojima bump

Man, Natal is awesome, but I don't know, I get the feeling it will flop much like Sony's motion controller. Both should have been 'stored' to release with a new console 2011-2012.

go ahead Kojima, any hard core player would like to play games like MGS with no controlers??

The motion games thing is built on all consoles for casuals. I dont see my self playing any shooting games by clicking on air.

The question is, will Kojima switch his games style to casual? can we see the next Kojima Tennies for example??
