Well most Wii fans were realistic in their predictions. I myself predicted 500-600 k first week with a 1,1-1,2 million total. It may just fall short of that total, we´ll have to wait and see. The thing is though that some (sonyfans) choose to compare MH3´s performance with that of the PSP versions when it was clear from the onset (for most) that the console version was not going to compare to the portables in sales.

I myself compare the Wii version with the previous console versions and while it´s only fair that MH3 should perform better than the previous ones becuase of the series exploding popularity in recent years it´s also unfair to compare it to the portable versions. In the light of that MH3 is indeed doing good.

Monster hunter doing bad? Compared to some expectations.... yes. Compared to previous MH console sales..... Hell no!

few days ago MH sever increase from 16 to 20(2000ppl/server).
In primetime i found 1100-1700 ppl/server.

New hunters increase everyday, so i still believe that this game LTD will reach 2m.

Of course I don't consider its sales as great or magnificent, I think at this moment they are a little underwhelming but no way a bomba or a failure. Anyway I'm done with this subject, we had enough last week.

It's really doubtful that MH3 is going to pass far above 1m. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this *was* Obon week, where every game gets big increases, no?

MH3 should hit 1m, which is great for the console part of the franchise, no doubt about it. But certainly lower than some fanboy expectations. Still, it's a great volume for fledgling 3rd party options in Japan.

I am starting to get tired of the bullshit that MH3 bombed. People always seem to bitch about sales when it comes to anything Nintendo related. Stop with the MH3 failed crap. Its doing great and its only been out just a few weeks and getting close to a million.
