Wii Sports Resort is doing awesome. No other word for it. Now the legs are there. Let´s see how long they turn out to be.

Monster Hunter 3, despite what some (mainly Sonyfans) try to claim is doing good. Very good I´d say. Almost 800 k now and growing. Bigger than previous consolegames by far and easily the biggest thirdparty console game so far this gen in Japan.

Nintendo rules Japan both with portables and consoles. I wonder what hardware will show?

That is maybe because some Wii fans predicted more? (like the bet with benga who ever that may be).

Well most Wii fans were realistic in their predictions. I myself predicted 500-600 k first week with a 1,1-1,2 million total. It may just fall short of that total, we´ll have to wait and see. The thing is though that some (sonyfans) choose to compare MH3´s performance with that of the PSP versions when it was clear from the onset (for most) that the console version was not going to compare to the portables in sales.

I myself compare the Wii version with the previous console versions and while it´s only fair that MH3 should perform better than the previous ones becuase of the series exploding popularity in recent years it´s also unfair to compare it to the portable versions. In the light of that MH3 is indeed doing good.
