The only reason the Xbox has outsold the ps3 is the fact that many owners buy a new 360 when the first one breaks down instead of dealing with the crappy MS customer servcie. If 50% of ps3 owners had to buy their console twice due to breakdown, we would be par wven though PS3 came out a year later..
^^no, it was the price, 1 year headstart and losing 2 important exclusives

360 comes with warranty you know ? I bought mine quite early, got 2 RROD since then and never had to buy a new one.

If those numbers were true...(they aren't) this generation of consoles would probably be the worst form of electronics EVER.
Those fail rates are ridiculiously unacceptable. Even the Wiis.
I wouldn't be surprised if the real 360 failure rate was below this fake wii's.

Yeah I got a Vizio myself... just a couple days ago... I'd trust it a lot more then a Sony. Other then their VG systems the stuff Sony makes is really shoddy.
It's high quality but fragile. It's like crystal.
Only worth it if you plan to rebuy a TV every couple years. Even then companys seem more and more to rely on making TVs less durable over the long run.

what I do know is that failure rate acceptability for electronics is below 1% for 3 years.
So if true... yeah... that does make videogame systems WAY more shoddy then any other consumer electronic product out there.
360 didn't have an acceptable failure rate... but Wii and PS3 do. (I've heard nothing to the contrary) which would suggest all 3 numbers are inflated badly.
And I mean is there any reason to not expect it to be so? This is a poll that is going to be biased towards heavy users... and a poll of people that have a lot of biased fanboys in their ranks.
LOL a 5,000 sample from a non random source (readers of one mag) out of a population of 31 milion... thatmust be themost crooked stats out there....
see me i'm the opposite of the stat I have 2 XB360 and never got a rrod :D
