I read a lot of threats in this thread, but I highly doubt that members who talked the talk would actually walk the walk. You will buy this game censored or not. My personal opinion based on the footage I have seen of this game on these forums is that your probably going to see this game censored. Ratings boards are sadly clamping down specifically on the celebration of gratuitous violence.

I cannot say I entirely disagree with their assessment. There is a point where your just doing sick twisted shit just to do sick twisted shit. Now its a different thing if its about setting the stage or its a serious part of the narrative. Then it isn't about the violence its about the violence giving an edge to the story or the world. Somewhere a line must be drawn, between what has some merit, and what is just being done out of a perverted sense of lust.

That would not stop Sony from selling the game uncensored in many regions, but they are quite adamant about not selling games that are adult rated. When push comes to shove yeah they would probably tone the game back.

Well that kind of kills the mood of the game. Gore is essential in GoW.
