As usual the trash anything wii related. Ign was tough on it, but fair giving it I think a 5.7. Personally having beaten it now I would give it more like a 6.5 or so. It has it's flaws but it's a hella lot of fun for a while, and I still anticipate playing it more even after having beaten it. I think they could do a much better job with the sequal (the ending points not so subtley to a sequal).
Gamespot as usual is just stupid, and apparently suck at videogames and reviewing them. They fault the controls for being very innacurate (they aren't), but then say that all you have to do is wag the remote like a dogs tail and you can beat the game (you'll get your ass kicked). Then they complain that it's too hard and that they died repeatadly and had to do some stages four or more times (you get five lives per level, and I never used all 5 on any level). Graphics, fine fault them they deserve it, but they as usual just suck at the game, complain about the waggle, and then trash it. Much like the controls of metroid that they couldn't get the hang of and yet somehow made the game too easy at the same time. Ugh, I can't stand gamespot, I dunno why I ever go there.
edit:Well at least the gamers like it. The average reader score is 8.9 at IGN and the reader reviews at gamefaqs are positive too. Sometimes people can over look flaws to see something better inside.
