The gore ended up being more than just cosmetic. It affected the feel to the game. The hit of the blade actually felt like it. The complete mess after made you belive that Sword was as sharp as they say.

It felt Ninja like. The NGS2 videos have lost all of that.

I've played (and beaten) NG2 and I won't miss the blood, especially if there's less framerate hicks involved. But I will say that they should really tone down on the blue pixy stuff. Less blood is fine, but TOO much blue essence shit will probably get annoying.

@badgenome - Actually, it seems like the pro-360 guys always start the hypocritical whining.

Also, I'd like to add that NG2 isn't THAT gory. Madworld is much worse.

Seems to you, maybe, but I really don't see one stupid fanboy faction as being more or less hypocritical than another.

I also don't recall NJ5, Shadowblind, or selnor complaining about God of War III; I know I sure didn't.

I think I'll just wait for GoWIII. I always liked those games over the Ninja Gaiden games anyway

Doesn't matter much to me, as long as they improve the camera system I'll be happy.

Im getting Sigma 2 day 1 liked Sigma alot but hopefully i can cut enemies heads like in Ng2.

Yeah man, you can still dismember ennemies, they only toned down the blood coming out of their limbs.

If they fix the camera issue, I'll pick up the game first day. That's what kept me buying NG2 on 360; the camera.

^ This camera thing is LOL. The camera was actually bloody good in NG2. It only ever messed up in extremely tight areas. Problem is you could solve it by having the camera further away. But then you would lose the feel of the combat. Being so close in on the combat makes this hack n slash >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> any other.

Games today aren't gorey enough... Cutting heads and limbs isn't really much to me... When will they make a game when i can run a hot knife or drill slowly through someone's eye? Use a sword to cut someone's hand in half straight down the middle starting from between the ring and middle finger? Smash some dude's knee caps with a hammer? Castrate some random loser with a spoon?

I wanna see some creativity with the gore...

Oh that seriously sucks balls. I don't see why they can't give you the option to turn off blood like many other games do instead of full on making the game less violent.

On a side note why the hell is this thread filled with people that have already played and beat this game on 360? If you already have this game for 360 then it shouldn't be an issue to you.
