Forums - Gaming Discussion - "Codemasters - the best Wii games are more engrossing than PS3/360 titles"

Well, maybe the PS3/360 titles you make =)

When a Wii game is engrossing, I agree it is the most engrossing of the 3 home consoles.

But there's not many Wii games I could say do that for me, there are plenty of 360/PS3 games that do though.

i AGREE with codemasters
though its not only the wii , ps2 easily beat the crap out of all consoles.

I agree. There aren't you know, 100 games like this, but the Wii games that put effort forth are really good, and unforgettable.

When reading this, I thought of No More Heroes. It wasn't the best game technically, but I felt really intrigued by it all, more than any 360 game I've played or own. I guess it is because those games that I've played have already been done before last generation, but just with greater graphics.

i dont own a Wii and i agree with the guy, just an example of this is SMG no game on 360 or PS3 comes even close to it imo

I agree. I'm currently playing Twilight Princess and man oh man did that game suck me in. There's only been two games this gen that has drawn me in to that level, MGS4 and Uncharted (will probably add Uncharted 2).

Well thats their opinion

It's one person's opinion just like there have been others stating the opposite.

There are very immersive games on all the platforms.

At least its a refreshing comment to see.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

"I frequently get asked if there are any mini-games in Overlord Dark Legend. Usually by people with a masters degree in Missing The Point. The last thing Wii needs is mini-game collections. It's become a lazy cliché. And how many of them are even any good? Not many. Likewise, Wii doesn't need cel-shaded, big-head cartoon games, dumbed down to the point of just having to shake the Wii Remote to have it play itself.

I've been a Nintendo gamer all my life, and it's hardcore gaming experiences are the reason for that. I don't need Wii Fit to tell me I'm a porker, I already know. Nintendo's done a fantastic job in broadening the market and bringing new gamers to the table, and now we have to retain them by showing them the reasons videogames are awesome. With that in mind, we kept Dark Legend targeted at core gamers. We stuck to what made the series a success, and expanded that with the strengths of the Wii as a platform. So if you were expecting Overlord Sports, tough."- Dean Scott
