My initial impressions:

Don't really care for the color scheme...too much grey (trying to follow the HD FPS grey/brown trend?)

Way too much flash, esp the big box above the popular stories

Front page is a bit "busy", 3 columns full of things makes it feel cluttered

Is it only ONE thread that's doing that to you> Or ALL threads remain orange??? Very strange as it's working for me and I assume the majority of users...

Are you sure those two threads don't have a WessleWoggle deleted post? That has been happening since before the switch to 2.0

Ahhh - THAT'S interesting (two-fold) - first that a deleted post would do that and second that I hadn't heard about it before... :P

Who deleted the post? A mod, the user, or a pema-ban?

 

Well, I'm not sure...but I THINK (don't quote me on that) that he asked an admin that all his posts be deleted (but if you didn't know, it's weird)...I'm not really sure what happened...I'd tell you to ask him but he's banned now

Well, the only admin that could possibly delete ALL of his posts (without permabanning him) would be Brett or myself...   ...still, an interesting situation to say the least.

 

If you say so...but check his profile. It says he has 2225 posts. Now go to "view all posts". Notice it says there he has only 360...something happened there

This reminds me of XBL, so much content and hard to navigate. You don't know what kind of goodies are hidden beneath.

Well, i am going to give my honest opinion, I dont like it.

I prefer the white one. It doesnt feel and look as friendly as the original website (at least the homepage)

I dont like, for example, in the news comments, only 10 comments per page?? why, it was great when i could see all the comments in 1 page and dont have to click in many numbers to go trough the comments, and i prefer the older order of comments, you know, the oldest comments at the beggining and the newest at the bottom, it easier to read the comments in the correct order.

Other thing than i dont like, is the "data box" in the home page. The original was great, you could the see the worldwide sales, and all the games for each regions, but now, i have to make clic on every logo (usa, japan and eu) if i want to see the games. i dont know, you could call me lazy, i call it, easier.

Isnt all bad, i like the color : ) the forums looks good.

If i could choice 1, i would pick up the older desing, but, thats just my opinion.

tooooo much black, bad for my eyes

and I cant see the numbers for america, europe and all at 1st sight, quite inconvient !

still have to discover, but having to slide to see all the page is not very convenient either
