7 / 5 2009: Growth in the gaming business 12.7% INCREASE IN TRADING UP TO SHOP

Sales figures for the first quarter of 2009 are summed and the growth we've had in recent years continues. In relation to the same period in 2008, we have a 12.7% increase in total revenue for the PC and Console. This turnover is equivalent to 113 million in the shop.

If we go to his game sales per console, we see that the PlayStation 3 has the greatest market share of 29.4%. Microsoft provides for the first time their own numbers for the game sold at retail in addition to third-party suppliers, and we see that the Xbox 360 thus has a market share of 21.3%. Nintendo Wii has a market share of 13.3%, which is unchanged from 2008. When it comes to game sales per console for the handheld we see that the Nintendo DS continues to take the lead in the market with 12.9%. PC market continues to lose them something and have now fallen from 19% to 10.1%.

When it comes to the number sold the hardware, you will see that of the three consoles, it continues to sell most Nintendo Wii, closely followed by the PlayStation 3 Please note that Microsoft does not deliver sales figures for consoles. Of the handheld consoles PSP and Nintendo DS with the Nintendo DS in sales management.

Norway has never been Nintendo-land when it comes to console. Sega beat it, and Sony beat it

So it looks like Sony is still moderately loved in some obscure places in Europe.
