Am I alone in this?  I notice I've bought a few games twice.  The list includes:

-Tomb Raider Legend: PS2/360

-Tomb Raider Anniversary: PS2/360

-Bloodrayne 2:  PS2/Xbox

-True Crime LA: Gamecube(SEVERELY gimped version)/PS2

-Super Mario Bros. :Nes/Gameboy/Super Nes/Virtual Console

-Resident Evil 4: Gamecube/Wii/Xbox 360

Super Mario 64: N64/DS

-Super Mario Bros. 2: Nes/Gameboy Advance/Super Nes

-Super Mario Bros. 3: Nes/Gameboy Advance/Super Nes

-Tetris: Every console ever!

-Starfox 64: N64/Virtual Console

And (aside from Mario All Stars) this doesn't even include the updated remakes (Twin Snakes, Conker: Live and Reloaded).  Is there something wrong with me?  Why do I buy the exact same experience repeatedly?  More importantly, what are some games that were so good that you had to buy them twice?

Halo 1,2,3 so i could play with buddies at LAN parties!!! Actualy i bought 4 copies of Halo 1 if we count the PC version :D



I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

I got Pokemon Leaf Green and Blue. And I got the sonic collection for GCN when I already had Sonic 1 and 2 for Genesis. Does that count?

I would only buy games more than once if my original copy doesn't work anymore, like GTA: San Andreas and Metal Gear Solid 3.

I bought a lot of the Mario Games, and then I bought that compilation game for the SNES.

I also bought the original OoT and Master's Quest.

I threw out some PS1 games and then bought them again a few years later on PSN.

Destruction Derby, Crash Bandicoot and Theme Hospital.

Fallout 3 bought a PC version around november, im buying 360 version now to play it again (with the DLC's)

neverwinter nights - i broke my first copy (the first cd)

Baldurs Gate - bought the whole collection cheap, just in case my original cd's stop work

Planescape Torment - same as BG

Ive bought Super Mario Bros. like 3 times, for NES, SNES (in compilation) and for Wii.

I "bought" Ocarina of Time three times, for preordering Wind Waker, with the Zelda collection off Ebay and for the original.



"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."
