Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii misses out again!

Well the odds of Wii getting sandbox games is slim and none because there isn't a demand for them on the Wii.

Also why would developers invest money on a expensive sandbox game when they can easily make a party game that will sell more copies?

I was just looking at videos for Infamous and Prototype, both games look amazing and i plan to get both but, where is the Wii's superhero snadbox game?????? I have all 3 systems now but at my core i'm a hardcore Nintendo fan. Such a shame i haven't played my Wii in months.

if you like games on PS3 or 360, buy the games and play them on it. If you don't like the games on Wii, sell it.

What does "a hardcor Nintendo fan" actually mean? Also, I don't know how a game can be judged by watching the videos...

First of all i would like to say i'm sorry for creating a flame war that was not my orginal intention, second i like games on all 3 systems that why i buy games on all three systems. Now i understand that the Wii is not the graphic powerhouse that the 360 and PS3 is but in the "last-gen" systems most games came out for all three anyway and pretty much everything came out for the market leader at the time except first party games which is a no brainer.

As far as the "I'm a hardcore Nintendo fan" comment i made, i didn't mean to be taking in a fanboyish manner, i simply meant that I really like Nintendo, more than i like Sony or Microsoft so i wish they could appeal to everyone. Also i have more games on my Wii than the other two so why would i sell it. i guess i didn't write out my point well enough to create a discussion i created a flame thread and i didn't mean to.

I just want to run around a city like i used to on Spider-man 2 and Hulk Ultimate Destrution on Gamecube they were fun.

Punch Out!!!

Wii has the Conduit.

Wow, The Conduit and Punch Out? I hope I don't twist my ankle running to store for those.

I'm sure those are/will be fine games but the Wii is best for casual gamers. I need games that offer more immersive game play. That's a huge reason why people buy HD consoles.

Meh... not my style. Perhaps they will port Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fable, and Mass Effect for the Wii. *fingers crossed*

Recently I've been playing a lot of RTS on my 360. C&C series and Halo Wars. Wii offer anything in that genre?

I guess if you count Overlord, Pikmin, or Little King's Story as RTS.

Blizzard is working on a Wii game, although there has been no word on what it is.

Also Takt of Magic, launching Japan next month.
