Don Wii...I already got in trouble today for butting in to a thread where I didn't belong. It won't end well if I (as an American) get into this one.

You won't believe what our politicians want to do right know with the gaming market, and what some parents tell in forums, you get frigthend.  

Well, of course not ALL of them are.

How many people can you convince about the Wii not being owned by only Grandmas, Soccer Moms, and little girls?

Its not easy to get rid of a stereotype.

i suppose they want us to get rid of every light gun arcade game and destroy every bb gun next? These dumb parents are just trying to get publicity, probably the same parents who bought their kids the super scope back in the day. Who complained that it drove gun violence then?

Anyway, i guess it does revolve around the fact, that i'm dissing the american populace. But come on! what was i supposed to say when being confronted with this "smart" posts from US parents??

It IS a stereotype though, and it's becoming increasingly popular on the internet within the past few years. Probably a Bush factor.

I'll be the first to admit our country's got problems, and sure, there's a plethora of stupid people, but I'd pull the plank out of my eye before mentioning the splinter in mine if I were you.
Our countries all have their problems, but America has been an easy target lately because of our President and foreign policy. We can take all day to point out the problems in our countries, but I'd suggest leaving it out of discussions about "stupid parents" and such. Stupid parents exist all over the globe, trust me.

I cant wait to get the Wii Zapper so I can start training my child on killing Hmmm..... lets see Creature on the T.V. screen. Hopefully in the future when HELL is full and the dead start walking. My Grown child will have the skill to shoot Zombies that walk around our planet on T. V. screens. Heaven forbid I cant read the ESRB rating on each game and decide that shooting cartoon ducks is just as bad as shooting cartoon humans. The Wii seems to make them both FUN. BRING OUT YOUR DEAD!! Then Zap 'em with a WII Zapper.

The same way their are Obese people around the world. However, United States(America would refer to both North and South America, and I hate to include all of them in the discussion) has a far greater number.

Therefore, it sticks out like a sore thumb.
