It seems like everyone has high hopes for this game atleast many of my fellow wii owners, those guys are hoping on a big hit. but im afraid there is no hope for The Conduit.

It is very likely it won't won't do groundbreaking sales.

I expect that first week sales probably won't reach GTA:CW and it will do around 90k worldwide first week if its lucky

and maybe, maybe it will do 300k ww LTD

Like most wii games it won't have a great opening week, maybe 70k-90k. But, it will end up at 1-2 million, mark my words.



"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

Wow, I didn't think that a pink blob could be so insightful.

But I hope you are wrong- if you aren't then Wii better expect abyssmal crap for now on, because the 3ps will have their excuse like 911 was our excuse to invade Iraq.

Your LTD is crazy

I don't see how with all the hype, recent Wii FPS success, Sega advertising, and E3 achievements, it can sell worse than No More Heroes with a better debut and only a little better than Hell's Kitchen: The Game.

Lol.  I agree.  However, I am not even sure this will make any difference to them.  Otherwise they would have looked at the sales of RE4 Wii and Red Steel and made similar games rather than looking at the sales of Rayman Rabbits as excuse for only mini games and Umbrellica Chronicles for only making guided first person shooters.

I recall CoD: WaW Wii version didn't have that great starting sales, but it went on to sell a million =). Plus let HVS decide if it's successful, not your own "hardcore conscious."
