Pro choice. I think that a fetus is not alive, thus it's not murder, and that an unwanted baby is most likely to don't live a good life. Thus, in my eyes, abortion should be a choice

I am pro-life. But, zexen what you said in the bolded part doesn't really make sense (at least to me). You are saying that because his life will suck, you will kill him to spare him.

Why do you get to decide that? Maybe you would choose not but you shouldn't decide for someone else. Not to mention his life could not suck.

I get that you say this because you think it's not alive, so you are not killing anything. But, to me, how can we hear a baby's heartbeats, a mother can feel the baby's kicks and that not be considered alive simply because he is inside of the mother.

Where did I say it was my choice? It's obviously the parents' choice. If they don't want the baby, they should be able to choose to not to have it. It's a personal decision, no more than that. If the baby wasn't wanted, but they choose to have it, it's their choice too

Its simple I am both- I am all for women having the right to choice to use a condom or some other for of birth control I am al for their right to choice to have unprotected sex, but I am for the life of the baby once it is conceived b/c at that point eh woman has already made her choice and now must live with the results

That is the only way it should be in my opinion

*clause for rape* if a woman is raped and conceives then she should get to choice to carry the baby or not b/c she has yet to have a choice in the matter

And what if the condom ripped? It surely wasn't her choice then

This is rather illogical: If the baby was really "your choice" then you wouldn't want to have an abortion, frankly.

What you mean is if she's silly enough to have unprotected sex, then... (etc.) But what if she's still a teen and just didn't know any better?

This is why I'm pro-choice. It's always a hard decision to have an abortion but you can't dictade a woman what to do with her body.

Again, though: Personally I'm pro-life.

When I said you, I meant you as in if you were a parent. As in a parent shouldn't have the right to choose.

Second, the problem is that regardless of being wanted or not, that baby is alive therefore nobody has the right to choose if he lives or dies.

They can, however, choose not to be parents and give the baby away to adoption.

it was her choice to risk that with sex--if you do not want a baby then dont have sex, masturbate or have anal sex....its that simple

While unlikely that this situation could still exist in this world (I mean sex and condoms are every where) it could still happen and at that point (the parents should be smacked upside the head first) it would become a matter of case by case, did they know about safe sex and chose not to or did they just know know what they are doing and oppps

Anal sex doesn't prevent pregnancy, FYI.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I dont understand, I cant wrap my head Pro Choice...

To many pro-choicers a fetus is not alive, therefore aborting it is not murder or anything even close to murder and as such its ok. When you look at a fetus as being essentially a collection of cells without any of the things that make a human human such as the ability to think, relate and recognise then it makes perfect sense that said fetus should be able to be aborted.

I can see the pro-life side where they do see the fetus as being human and as such do not think that it makes perfect sense that said fetus should be aborted, usually due to the belief in a soul (which makes a person a person right from the start).

@Tyrannical. An ad hominem attack on Roe and the founder of Planned Parenthood doesn't actually change their message, no matter how flawed they were it does not make their message flawed.

(post made while very drunk so any spelling or logical mistakes I'll fix in the morning and anything thats insulting I'll apologise for)

NO!!!, I dont understand why its so hard to to wrap it and use pill, I taking about PREVENTING PREGNANTCY, when you take steps to PREVENT it Abortion is never a issue.

I don't really care either way.

Since I don't plan to have an unwanted pregnancy in my life, I am 100% unaffected directly. Indirectly? Who knows.

Pro-Choice all the way.

Abortion should be safe, legal and sometimes encouraged.
