I'm usually an open person to other beliefs but, holy s***.

So basically some homeless guy decides he wants to improve himself and make some good change in his life, but the universe says "No, screw you", then all the sudden while going to his first job interview some guy comes out of an alley and shanks him in the back because he was meant to stay as a bum.

I would say murder i'd never wish either on anyone.

In response to the above posts, they are a collection of some of the most misguided statements i've had the misfortune of reading on this site. I would honestly, strongly advise against voicing these kind of opinions in public or you may find some people are inclined to try and 'correct your universal course'.

there are so many variables.

It depends how you kill the person. If it was self defense then not your fault, but killing in cold blood is horrible.

Rape kind of depends on how violent/brutal it is.


I'd go with rape being worse personally. You would put the person through hell. At least with murder their dead and in a better place.

@coolestguyever: I think you bring up an interesting point. Does people's belief in an afterlife affect their opinion on whether murder or rape is worse.

My feeling is that when you die or are murdered then it's game over, so to speak, and perhaps that's why i think it's worse than rape.

No doubt it does.  Just depends on your beliefs

For example is this impefect world made for tuning the soul?  Afterall in a perfect world everyone would turn out the same, no?

If so.  Then rape is worse then murder.

If the world however is just a test... then one would think god/creator would "fix" the bad.  Murder Worse.

If said raped person then commits suicide (which happens a lot) then said person would be barred the gates of heaven unlike being murderd.  Hence worse.

Personally i'm not sure of the above so i can't say what's worse.

I lean towards rape if only because it's infintily more acceptable.

Kill someone and unless there is a good reason... people will be rightfully angry.

Rape someone... and half the time people will congradulate you if it's a "sneakier" version and not the backalley violent version people talk about.... heck even then.

Rape is frighteningly acceptable... more so then even a lot of lesser crimes.
