it kind of sounds like a security tool to make sure that the player owns the disk, it obviously wouldn't make sense to let people play without the disk. I suppose NXE installs are meant for the purposes of performance increase (barring Halo3) and noise reduction. Still, I hope SquareEnix finds a way around this storage issue for FF13. It's kind of lame to sacrifice gameplay convenience for HD CG movies.

I wouldn't mind if there was disk swapping just as a means to progress to the end of the game, but having to change disks to reach certain areas isn't the same as the PS1 days, it's actually worse.

MS must secure a exclusive NA and Euro 360 FF13 bundle to sway some fence sitters.

of course more people will get FF on PS3... the thing is a system seller and was exclusive for 2 years, there is a large portion of FF fans that bought their systems early to enjoy the other games in the wait. and some would have gone 360 instead had it been anounced sooner. How many though is something we'll never know :p

Final Fantasy games got a little old after FFVIII. It's an exclusive for only 2 years? For that amount of time, I can wait for it on a different console.
