Back on the news of Grifball. Has anyone tried out that new Grifball arena for the Mythic Map Pack? Its the Crypt section of Sandbox. I heard it's bigger than Foundry's Grifball map. Dunno for sure. I really want to try it out, but Mythic Map pack isn't on Xbox live Marketplace yet.

For that matter, has anyone thought of the idea of making a 16 player maze grifball map? I don't think it will work as well, but everythin' is worth a shot.

Anyway, Grifball rules! Really get's ya goin' sometimes.

I can imagine the Griffball arena be turned into a paintball or lazer tag type arena.  If it lets you throw up walls and so on, it is likely to happen.  I wonder if it is big enough to allow for an indoor Mongoose or other vehicle racing track.

Bungie will probably make a Rocket Race stunt arena where the targets are in the air and you have to go off jumps. I personally think that would be awesome. Mongoose mayhem FTW.

i think you have fps king mistaken for who offers the most extras in various forms, both sides can be argued and there wont be a winner.

as an example, i will use Ferrari and the bugatti. bugatti veron is known as the best supercar or the king of supercars, but using your logic it isnt, any ferrari is better since they have more merchandising, they are more accessible and offer more variety. however, in the purest form, the bugatti kicks the crap out of every ferrari!

there is no right or wrong.as a consumer we win either way. ferrari is better for casuals who dont like change, bugatti is better for those seeking new thrills and experiences, yet both can be enjoyed and are worth their price.

Console FPS king refers to which game is the most well known, iconic and dominant game in among game consoles. That is the Halo franchise. Among platformers, it is Mario. Street Fighter is likely king among fighting games. In the driving game arena, it would be Gran Turismo.

That is what I refer to.

That would be awesome, and not only awesome. But possible, with the skybox part of sandbox you can design a race-course type map with mongooses, rocket launchers, jumps and aerial targets. Hit the Target: Evolved.

Comon guys, use your imagination. If Foundry was able to invent Grifball. Who knows what sandtrap will invent. All Foundry allowed you to do was edit, add, or remove every object on the map. Sandbox lets you do that, and beyond. Here's to hopin' that the community of halo 3 will be able to invent some really kick-ass stuff in the near-future.

Why must JRPG female leads suck so bad?

BTW I was banned becomes of some troll in the PS3 section claimed I was trolling. Anyway. . . Girfball just plain looks silly. I am sorry. It was people going around using the swords and hammers thats all. Well thats all I saw anyway.

Have you ever played Counter-Strike "knife only" rounds? Things like that take skill and precision timing. If you master melee in FPS (Like griffball which is fun) it increases your chances of being more badass and surviving the longest.

Yes I have played stuff like that. Pistols only in Socom. Knife only in some games also. I know it can be fun. But to say halo3 is the king because people run around and melee each other seems fanboyish and silly.

Well it is the only FPS I know where you can knock a guy a quarter mile with a hammer. If you can evade the hammer, you have skill. It's extremely fun playing it though. I dunno, but it stands out.

Yeah I didn't know people would fly a quarter mile(I doubt its really that far) They should have more melee weapons. If they did then MAYBE it would stand out. Halo really is just space marines with bright colors.

Halo Melee Weapons:
