Just D/L the HD Trailer on Live and it is Amazing. The graphics is insane and comparable to GOW2 and KZ2.

With no Halo 4, Gears 3, or a New Perfect Dark this year, I think maybe Microsoft might paid for the development of Lost Planet 2 and make it their flagship shooter this year like a Gears of War from EPIC.

With features like a 4 players co op campaign and a well known IP, and having the guys that made RE5 announcing it on xbox Live might raised some kudos to backed up my theory.

Remember a while back when Microsoft announced they have 2 new unannounced games to show before GDC? Do you guys think Lost Planet 2 is one of them?

I am serious hyped up about this game after the incredible intensed trailer. I know some of you think the first game was avg at best but look at KZ1 and KZ2.

Err, theres Halo ODST which will be disapointing if it sells fewer than 4.5 Million copies. Furthermore KZ2 hasn't proved itself to be anything in particular just yet in terms of sales.

Its probably more comparable to Gears of War and if it lives up to the promise it could sell 5M+ like pretty much every other yearly big Xbox 360 shooter exclusive so far.

TBH if it does hit in 2009 it will be absolutely killer with Halo + Call of Duty + Lost Planet going for a massive 3 way, which is why I wonder if it may hit early 2010 like other big games from Capcom.

you really have to see it in motion on a big screen and it looks really really good. But my guess is that Halo ODST will be the big shooter. It is just a add-on but it is Halo.

And Rare is currently working on 4 projects. So there will be at least one Rare-game as well. Lionhead has 2 projects running right now, but we don't know yet if they make it till xmas 09.

Splinter Cell is, according to UbiSoft, but that was some time ago. And Mass Effect2 should be released in Q1 2010 but that was the financial year 2010 for ea, which is late 2009 actually. And Forza3 is pretty much confirmed. You know the guys making the menu said so, turn 10 said something about it, too. Well it is not officially confirmed but it is the worst kept secret in the industry.

But you are right, we finally need a press conference to clear things up. I really want to hear what will happen this year. Sony and MS aren't telling much this year so far.

We don't know if God of War III makes it in 2009, same for GT5. We don't know exactly about Mass Effect or Bioshock. There are far too much question marks to judge a line up at this point. But the list of games I made up there is possible.
