Forums - Gaming Discussion - Tom Chick frags Killzone 2 (says it isn't worth playing)

Did he play the game or watch it? Because he never really made any effort to talk about the actual gameplay.

No kidding, I wont bash him cause I haven't played but he didn't really say much there.

It's obvious that with kz2's growing popularity, there are some who now think they can become famous by slandering the game...funny indeed.

Who the hell's Tom Chick?

From wiki:

As a freelance columnist, he has written for a number of sites, including Firing Squad,[3] Yahoo Games[4], Gamespy[5], Gamespot, Xtreme Gamer[6], 1Up[7], Rotten Tomatoes[8] and others. His articles have also appeared in magazines such as the "Tom vs. Bruce" series in Computer Gaming World, and he was listed as "one of the field's rare American practitioners" in an article on "New Games Journalism" in the New York Times[9].

I hope you guys realize that this guy has actually more credibility than the usual gaming journalist as he can actually say what he thinks without the fear of being fired(like that guy at gamespot). However, it's not because he didn't enjoy the game that you shoud care.

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

Tom Chick: That Guy who attempted to make his opinions relevant by being one of the contrary voices to vast overwhelming majority who have favorable opinions of KZ2.

And he played Oscar's gay lover from NBC'S The Office. Great show; totally irrelevant in regards to opinions on a blockbuster million selling game.

Too bad countless people have been trying to do the same as the hype over KZ2 continues to build.
