What's the average cost of making a 360 game?

What's the average cost of making a PS3 game? Is it outstanding more than making a 360 game?

What's the average cost of making a Wii game?  Can games like Imagine: Party Babies actually cost 500k to make?

What's the average cost of making a PS3/360 multiplatform game? is porting 10% of the price to make a 360 or PS3 game?

What's the average cost of making a DS game?

What's the average cost of making a PSP game?

What's the average cost of porting a SNES game to the DS?

What's the average cost of porting a PS1 or PS2 game to the PSP? Vise Versa?

What's the average cost of porting a PS2 or Gamecube game to the Wii? Vise Versa?

What's the average cost of porting a 360/PS3 game to PC? Vise Versa?

Gosh that's alot.. I need numbers though to have a rough image of how much a developer can lose or gain if their game flops or is successful in the market.

I know that a DS game breaks even at 100k, HD games break even at about 1.3 million.. This is from end of 07 I think according to ubisoft.. I'll look into it a bit more for you.

I'm interested in this myself. I only know that Yves Guillemot (Ubisoft) has said that a PS360 multiplat adds about 10% to the cost of development.



Ubsioft said regarding PS3 and 360 development, that the lead version is 10% cheaper than the one it's ported to. So I guess it's interchangeable.

You might want to re-read that, it makes no sense.

Also Uncharted reportedly cost $20 Million to make and the second will have the same budget as the first..

 

Another bit of information i'd like to know is how does the $US50 or $US60 of a game sale get divided exactly?

I hope he talks about multiplat games. Because 1.3 million is too much for an exclusive.

Actually Games like Uncharted cost 20M to make
Killzone 2 costs only 25M to make but they have a 40M budget for Advertisement and Etc

Gears 1 and 2 cost about 10M to make and thats because Epic has made a shitload this gen from the Unreal engine

Halo cost 30M but had a huge cost for advertisement

and GTA cost 100M
