Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

9. Guitar Hero II/III/World Tour and Rock Band 2. The Original GH was great because it made music games popular, and the original Rock Band brought Drums and microphone into play. After that the sequels were the exact same with a new list of songs. Its like sports games which are just a roster update from the previous year.

10. Crash Bandicoot games after the original Playstation. When they went multiplat on PS2, Xbox and GC, and weren't made by Naughty Dog, they sucked ass. Enough said.

 

There is a difference between not like something and hate something. I guess you hate Zelda and Mario cause you're jealous about everybody loving the games except you... So you hate the hype around the game, not the game hymself : difference.

Quite a few games i dislike bigtime

Halo series

God of War 2

LittleBigPlanet (the most overhyped sack of shit i ever played, it reminds me of that game The Movies. Really cool for the first hour, after that it is the same old same old with the same old movies/levels by the community over and over. Not hard to see why it is currently the most traded in game).

Gears of War 2 (started off really cool but once it went underground where you look for the queen i just wanted it to end, never even looked at it since)

Lair....I won't even go there

really? after playing the first one you expected different from the game. It just pushed further into the causal RPG land.... it does still have some grinding. but ive felt its headed in the direction the want to take the series..... I was kinda pissed i couldnt kill my kids, or make royal decrees

Uhm probably Mario's Time Machine, that game just got on my freaking nerves when I was a kid renting it from the video store, I boot it up and all I see is a screen to input numbers and I have no idea, and it's telling me everything I do is wrong, and when I finally get something it takes me to this sailing mumbo jumbo and I'm WTH! Then I just throw the controller down and put in Super Mario World.

I cannot stand the Mario games, as Yahtzee says 'Nintendo are beating a dead horse over and over again'

They just need to let the fat plumber die, all these tennis and soccer games are just truly awful! *shudders*

MGS4: The most confusing and most convoluted story ever and some really weak gameplay and online sucks ass.

FFanything: No idea why this is sometimes regarded as the best rpg series ever , although the J man hates turn based games (which is why FF12 is the only FF game the J man beat)

Metroid: Just hate about every game in this series , either on handhelds or consoles. See absolutly no fun in them

COD 5: Fuck you treyarch is all the J man has to say....
