I wouldn't call gears online a "strong multiplayer".

Why do they have to say "Heavenly Swords looks great!", why can´t they say "Heavenly Sword plays great!"? Why can´t Sony say that? I´m sure it does. How do the developers feel when they hear Sony talking about the games graphics? I´m sure they put more than just graphics into it. Every game contains a little bit of the developers heart-blood. I´m sure they want people to talk about the game, not about it´s graphics. (This wasn´t a comment to this review only. It describes a trend I noticed during the last five years, and it was the trend why I nearly quit gaming. It doesn´t refer to a single console. I think the game is good. But I´m not interested in it´s graphics. I want to play the game, not it´s visuals.) |
I agree with everything in this post.. except for the opinions of certain games, given i haven't played all of those listed in the post

You have to be joking. Have you ever played gears online? Its not Halo, but its SICK. And as of last week was still the most played game on live, 9 months after release. It'd be one thing if ppl bought it thinking it would be great and then it wasn't, but to still have such amazing play-rates...this games multiplayer DEFINES strong

Well PSX EXTREME isn't biased in the traditional meaning. Only thing that makes me mad about the magazine is that it doesn't give nearly as much coverage for the xbox360 and Wii as it does for the PS brand in general. Other than that though, i'm quite pleased with it. One thing though, NEO PLUS is currently the bigger video game magazine in Poland.....but it's totally biased in favour of Sony while discrediting the Wii as much as possible.

AAAA?? wow, how about getting a AAA title first (I guess you could call the 360 port of Oblivion as AAA)??
Also the reason why the game is not a 10 (as stated by Kber) are rather worrying... less than 10 hours? Same enemies? Not many big boss battles?? and collision detection issues??
Other then the collision detection all the problems stated for the games are major issues.
