Forums - Gaming Discussion - How big is EA?

vlad if you don't like their decisions, then just don't buy the SC2. Lucky for you that 2009 is the year of the RTS, and you can have:
Total War: Empire
Dawn of War 2
Demigod
Battleforge
Anno 1404
Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor
Tom Clancy's Endwar
League of Legends: Clash of Fates
Majesty 2 – The Fantasy Kingdom Sim
Stormrise
Worldshift

this big

WTF... why do you ruin every thread? :O

Well anyways, EA is pretty big, and its still arguably as powerful as Activision/Blizzard... to compare it to Nintendo is not fair, mainly because they are 3rd party devs and have an entirely different aproach to game development...

EA has the kind of money to put out their own console!

!!!!!THAT BIG!!!!!!!!!!

Their first party would be awesome

There own......console? the hell?

True. They could if they wanted to but I doubt they want to. But I think both EA and Capcom would make a good 1st part. They both have IP's that can move some decent units.

4 ≈ One

EA's success is mostly due to EA Sports.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

7,900 employees. About the same as Nintendo plus Sony's game division combined.

EDIT - Probably less after the announced layoffs happen.

EA couldn't release a console and keep EA Sports running. Most of EA Sports' IPs are based on contracts stating that they must release games on all platforms.

That would be like Microsoft publishing Halo for the PS3, Wii, PC, PSP, DS, PS2.

i live in sweden and before i even got intrested in this sales and all stuff i just had a PS2 and didnt even know who square enix, capcom, level 5 were but i surely knew EA xD
