I really don't think that the developers ever lose money on the bundle. If anything it's probably Sony. If the developers themselves lose money on the bundle then what would be the incentive?

Yes bundles helped it's sales, but given the current sales and the fact there are still 2 weeks left it could have made 1.5 million without the bundle.

The argument and all the trash talking about LBP's sale due to bundle is moot, everyone knew there were bundles for this game before the first copy was sold, most of the predictions including this bet was made with the knowledge that those bundle exist.
