Sorry, Forza 2 is AAA and mario kart is something like B+. In my opinion, closer to C-.

mario kart is tripe. wii fit is not even a game. its an overpriced exercise program.

and you said so yourself, if we go by all review sites, the wii has the absolute least number of AAA games. now that you admitted that simple fact, i no longer need to defend the fact that the wii produces mostly shovelware and very very very few AAA games.

I also own a Wii (and only the Wii) at the moment. But I never use the big sales of hardware and software to feed my ego.

Wow trolling much?  There's more to play on Wii then a core player should be able to handle and still have a normal life IE see MaxwellGT2000 in the dictionary.  You keep saying 95% shovelware, yet you have no idea do you?  You don't keep track of the Wii nor do you play it's games, yes there is some Ubisoft shovelware aplenty, and then PS2 port shovelware, and shovelware that was on the PS2 years ago ported to Wii now with no graphical update but you can't hold that against a console that is releasing many MANY more titles a month then either HD console, and if you're much of a PS2 gamer you should be experienced enough to weed through the shovelware by now.

As far as AAA games go, some games have been brought down in score just for the webpage hits so they get their money.  Many sites listed on gamerankings and meta do this as the lowest and highest scores ususally get the most hits cause people like to see the different opinions then the countless Sony fanboys linking the terrible review scores etc.  As for AAA games in my book there are well over the 5-7 you listed while there are only about 5-7 on each HD console as most games on HD consoles were drawn into the hype train and scored well above what they should have been IE see GTA4 the crappiest 10 rated game ever made, putting it in the 9s would be laughable itself...

oh my brother owns a wii. and i criticize because i have seen it, and i have played it. and after playing it, i know, from firsthand experience, that mario kart is tripe and wii fit is not a game.

i never ever criticize something without playing it first. so there.

Tell that to all Star Wars Unleashed, Assassin's Creed, Devil May Cry 4, etc happy purchasers.
