Damn i'd kill for a new Excite Truck. I though the first one was great, but admittedly, it did take a while to get used to its controls. But it felts so fluid.

But then again, I also wan F-Zero. Who made the 64 version?

I know SEGA did the GC version, but I personally liked the 64 one better :/

That's because it was made by one of Nintendo's own teams.

Please make an F-zero

I also don't get people who preferred F-Zero X to F-Zero GX. I mean, yeah, GX's plot was immeasurably silly, but who plays F-Zero for the plot?

I was just playing Smooth Moves multi-player with my family last night. We did Darts and Star Nose at first, because you can play them seated, with 12 pounds of turkey in your belly, but later did some Lifeline, mostly still sitting down. And yeah, awesome game.

F-Zero Gamecube WAS too hard, btw. I don't mind the game having challenges that tough, but not to unlock such important content. You have to invest a lot of time and become a freakin' wizard just to unlock all the tracks. That's simply retarded, and I bet it contributed to the game being such a sales disappointment.

Monster has only ever done racing games; most of them NASCAR games. Here's their (amazingly barebones) webpage: http://www.mgiracing.com/

And here's a list of Nintendo franchises to fuel your speculation: http://nindb.classicgaming.gamespy.com/fran.shtml

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

The 64 version had the track that randomly generates itself.

'Nuff said.

F-Zero would be insane

30 perone online multiplayer....

My money is on Excitebike Wii. I don't think they'll make F-Zero.. I'm sure someone is though.

F-Zero GX's exorbitant difficulty for unlocking content is probably the only demerit I would give it. It was still, in terms of mechanics, the best racer of the last generation for me.

Though the lack of a random track generator is quite damning, too. I had almost forgotten about that.
