Forums - Sony Discussion - R.I.P Playstation Underground, 1999-11/23/2008

Around the Network

They could've kept the PlayStation Underground name. They could've just labeled the forums the "Underground" portion of the PlayStation Network.

It will be missed. :(

Well, at least before "PSU" went down they sent me a Home Beta invite. I never signed up or anything, but i'll take it.

Now I hope "Playstation Network" does the same. Send me a KZ2 invite!!!

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

The PSU has not been the same since the launch of Playstation 3. I think this is going to be awsome. It is like Playstation.com is finally moving into this generation. Hopefully Sony won't half-ass this. If they have taken their time, and really planned this out Playstation.com may become a site to drop by every now and then.

well they are unifying their products and services. Now that the PSN is now on the PC, PS3, and PSP Sony covered all aspects they need. Now they will probably be offering another way to by things of the PS Store on the new site. They are already planning on improving those sigs they have. They just needed to fully connect the three platforms above together to better make a detailed sig.

Overall this is a very good move, like I said in another thread, that will improve Sony's brand presence.

Now we just need Nintendo to do something like that and all the consoles will have those features.
