@dib8rman: Ehm... Did someone steal your account...? She's not saying the words what it reads in the story. They are talking about the "Halo gamer" and the interviewer mentions "hardcore" in the "Halo gamer" context. Or did you just happen to pick something i missed?

Well, Ninty have been promising heaps of "hardcore" titles for quite some time now. Looks like all three contenders are full of it this gen to me.

Well this year Nintendo gave the Wii Mario Kart, Brawl, Sluggers, Wario Land, & Animal Crossing.

And they're saying next year we're going to get more O_o
That's gonna be hard to top.

i dont think it was meant to list everygame. but they seem the most hyped first party and third party games, at least in the early part of 2009

2009 will be possibly the weakest year ever for a Nintendo console going by 1st party releases, even weaker than this year, and I thought that was impossible. I think that 2010 will be the year of the Wii, talking of first party titles.

Well only 2 games confirmed for the first half is extremely weak. Considering one of them is a game published by them. And yea, they have released their 2009 release schedule. Only 3 games announced, plus 2 GC ports I think.

It really pisses me off that journalists keep putting words in Nintendos PR people. She NEVER mentioned the word Hardcore or Halo gamers!

Nintendo has done a GREAT job making games for both core and new gamers. What the hell you people want? One game a year like EA does?! You want Nintendo to make EA qualility games?!

Dear God no! Let them do their job. Believe it or not, they know wha they do!
