Forums - Website Topics - Request to change the colors on the graphs

I ve been using this website for a while now and i think its brilliant but I have one gripe.. its the colors used in the sales comparison graphs.. 3 colors are used and thats blue, red and green. My main qualm is that sincei am color blind its really hard for me to distinguish between the "red and green".. considering a lot of males are color blind i wonder if any1 else here has the same problems.

It would be great if you used better contrasting colors like black, or yellow to replace the green or red..

hope some1 is listening

cheers

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

Very good point, we'll discuss the possibilities.

Thanks for bringing this on.

When I first read the thread's title I thought the reasons for the change were going to be stupid, now that I have read the OP I see that it is a good reason to change the colors. I'm not color blind but I support this guy's cause...

lightbleeder,

same here

Time to Work !

hmm, daltonism, never knew it was such a big problem.

I'll back him too ^^ (since I don't care for which colour is used)

Good point, my friend has the most trouble with red and green too, it seems particularly bad if the colours are from a light source (like a computer screen) rather than reflecting white light.

The three colours do suit the three consoles that most people will be looking at though (Wii = blue, PS3 = red, 360 = green) but if there is an option to alter the colour to your own choice it would be good.

Perhaps it could be put into the profile editing pages?

Thank you all for the support guys i hope someone looks into this. I have the same problem while playing lumines on my cell phone.. damn those green/red blocks!

Is it the same for you as with my friend..... if the colour is emitted light (like from a screen or traffic lights) it's worse than if it's reflected from an object.

I remember him saying that to him traffic lights (although it was hard for him to explain) looked more like a dull orange, then dull orange and then grey instead of red, amber, green.

its usually florescent green/red lights when they are imposed together that create a problem.. traffic lights arent usually an issue for me.. no greys for me.. so im guessing its a case of mild color blindness.

putting on a pair of sunglasses usually helps which probably means i have an issue with hue so its the mildest of the lot but yea i totally sympathize with your friend that must totally suck.
