So seriously what happens when the 360 gets down to something insane like £129.99 and the PS3 still outsells it? Are people still going to be making lame excuses then too?

So seriously the 360 has again outsold the PS3 so I don't get your point ?..

No it's not a confirmed price cut it's the company's off loading all their 40 gb models and this in turn has pushed up the sales plain and simple, as for cherry picking I see only negative from PS3 owners and yet nothing from the Wii owners whose model is the cheapest (not including the arcade) and outsells both the other consoles put together so why no mention of all the price cuts that the other Two consoles have had i.e PS3 40gb(may of been only 20gb)was £420 when released in UK and now look at it's price.

And all the 40gb PS3s are sold with TWO games in the UK now...

The thing I find most strange here is that the PS3 was outsold again plain and simple.

Strange that PS3 sales in Uk went down then compared to last week. And where does that 'UK = Europe+ others mentality come from' ?

I forgot that VGchartz has reps sitting in every single store in Europe counting every single console sold. They're estimates, dude.

Its well within the margin of error that either would win and you're a fool to think otherwise.

If the Japanese preview are true and the PS3 > 360, I can just picture the firework now...

Well it seems PS3 should be relatively safe in Others this year. 360 is far from dying though, its hope for 2nd place is over most likely, but I wouldn't call it a failure.

What I'm surprised at, is the rise in PSP sales. Its odd, because PSP3000 is coming out soon. Do people really know about it? Because other than the NA Market, PSP is still selling very well in the other markets.

Wonder how well the PS2 did this week lol. Thats the real beast, RAWR!

So when is the 360's next price cut? Next week? Whats it going down to, £50?

Mid next year when the Valhalla chipset arrives(CPU and GPU on 1 chip) will see MS biggest price cut and I really would like to see the min(arcade) model at £50 especially as it will probably be the slim line model and expect the PS3 to be around £99 at that time to as they also miniaturise their chipsets and we are now seeing dedicated Blu ray player prices falling and of course you can now get an all in One HD-dvd and Blu ray player for £65 for your PC.

The UK is the biggest market outside the USA so it is there that the sales are judged just like the USA is judged on and not Canada etc..

how can i get the ps2 sales for this week?

360 keeps on dropping, like I predicted.

:S

If it falls back to the 50k range, what will MS do next?

Next week, it's back to PS3 > 360 this week in others, and this week will be PS3 > 360 in Japan. America, again, is 360s last stronghold.

The price cuts in EU and JP are of virtually no effect. MS cannot be happy at the money wasted at the lower price point. They could have kept the price the same and been losing in EU and JP... lulz.
