problems i have with each

ps3:

after a while my hands hurt
expensivefinger slips off analog sometimes

360:

keep pressing the start button when playing,
black and white buttons useless
batteries
too heavyoddly placed analog throws off my aim a lot

wii:

not complete?batteries
sometimes unresponsive or off target?
breaks things
a peripheral that needs 3 other peripherals.....(nunchuck, grip, sensor thingie thats coming out)
too simple for kind of games i like, i would need 4th peripheral, or even fifth.....

WTF???  I actually picked up my controller to see if I had somehow missed two buttons!!

Anyways.. i'm glad you're judging a controller that YOU NEVER SEEN OR TOUCHED apparently...

ps3 controller feels the best in my hands, works the best in my hands to :p

but i do like the 360 controller just feels alittle off, like the thumbs feel wierd for me. and i dont like the LT/LB RT/RB positions they feel too close and the LT and RT feel wierd to push. but this might be because i used to the playstation controller that hasnt changed all that much in the past decade :]

the wii controls are alright, i dont really like motion. i like to just sit in my chair and chillax while playing my games. but every now and then its fun to play the wii. but also its not 100% percise so hoping the motionplus helps alot with that

so all and all the ps3 controller ftw for me

I've never been a fan of PS controllers but I have to admit that the Dpad on the PS3 dualshock controller feels great. Its like someone already worked it in for me.

The 360 controller is by far the best cotroller for FPS games ans the analog layout is optimized for that. And it feels more confortable in your hands...

Wii has motion control hence you cant really compare it. Here is how i would rank the controllers on all the systems i have owned...

Best controller list Best motion controller list

1. Sega Saturn pad 1. Wii controller
2. Sens pad 2. ???? PS3 controller ???
3. Sega Genesis 6 button pad
4. Xbox 360 controller
5. PS3 controller
6. dreamcast controller
7. Gamecube controller
8. Xbox 1 controller
9. PS1/PS2 controller
10. n64 controller

Really gamecube at 7 I would put that lower and the first xbox controller was bad too

See, I would rate the GC controller above any of the PS and Xb controllers. The GC controller only sucked because of the tacky color scheme of the buttons, but was awesome to use, imo.

I hate the 360's controller because it's so cheaply made. The biggest issue I have is that the thumb sticks are not very precise at all. Assuming the PS3's dualshock 3 is as good as the dualshock 2 in terms of quality, I'd say:

Xbox 360 controller is lower quality but otherwise about equivalent to the PS3

Wii controller is far better than the other two for some things (such as first person shooters) but not as good for other things (such as racers/fighters). For Wii racing games, I typically use the wavebird, which is much better than the 360 controller for fighters (it has a good d-pad).

Still, if I could use one of my 360 controllers for smash brothers or Mario Kart, I would.  Because we don't have enough wavebirds ;)

lower quality? i have 5 xbox 360 controls .. i use two of them everyday since 1.5 years and they're working fine.. i really like them..

Ps3 control: i like it, it works fine.. is excellent for fighting games and good for shooters..>

Wii controls: umh..they are funny the first time you use them..

360 control the layout and feel is much better than dual shock 3 what is up with those sholder buttons on the DS3
the wii mote.... ehh .... never got into it i tired though, gave my wii to my grandparents.

the 360 main fault is the d pad, since i do not use fighting games that much not a real issue, but i woul like to get ahold of on of the revised controllers

You do make a point the d pad on the 360 is BAD

i think i herd someone where that they improved the d pad becasue microsoft admitted it was crap aha thers a post somehere but i dont feel like finding it

lol, i got caught up with my rant of the original xbox controller LOL

u can see that ive never liked the controller haha must be some painful memories!!!

I actually like the Wiimote - nun chuck even if it is not using motion or ir. I like the freedom of not having my hands two inches apart. It could use some more accessible buttons on the Wiimote though.

Canby - The Phantom Tollbooth

Depends on the type of game(s) I am playing.

I love both the PS3 and the 360 Controllers. I like the Wavebird as well, I can use this since I play a lot of VC games. :)

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Wii than PS3. The Xbox 360 controller isn't even as good as the Wavebird, from last generation. Heck, I like the classic controller better than the Xbox 360 controller.

The GC controller is awesome as well. The DS class of controllers wins because of better shoulder buttons and a better D-pad.
