The PS3 has outsold the 360 by 1.6mil units this year, the PS3 has seen no price cut while the 360 has seen price cuts of 80 Euro's across PaL regions. This should give people a pretty good idea of where things are headed.

The Wii demand has not decreased... the supply has merely increased to be nearer to demand.

If you notice the Wii still outsells the PS3 by about the same percentage as it did in early 2007, which is somewhere between double and triple per week depending on Wii supply, and whatever new attempt at sales Sony has given the PS3 recently.

None of them will ever reach 50M. That's funny to read things like "you'll see when it's at 199$ or 299$". People really don't care about price of consoles (until it's not something like 1000$). Well actually they do, but it doesn't stop them much from buying it when they want it. Here in France most of people buying PS3 are in middleschool. Yeah they have to save money from birthday + christmas to get it, But they definitely get it. Actually the price of the PS3 helps it, since young children consider it the greatest because it's the most expensive.

Xbox360 will probably end at 35-40M and PS3 at 30-35M, which will already be a good improvement from Xbox and Gamecube.

I think the 360 may lose to the PS3 to 50 million but yes it will make it the xbox sold 25 million and they cut the legs off it short and the 360 is way more popular.
