None of them will ever reach 50M. That's funny to read things like "you'll see when it's at 199$ or 299$". People really don't care about price of consoles (until it's not something like 1000$). Well actually they do, but it doesn't stop them much from buying it when they want it. Here in France most of people buying PS3 are in middleschool. Yeah they have to save money from birthday + christmas to get it, But they definitely get it. Actually the price of the PS3 helps it, since young children consider it the greatest because it's the most expensive.
Xbox360 will probably end at 35-40M and PS3 at 30-35M, which will already be a good improvement from Xbox and Gamecube.
