Beta's are alot of fun... you basically get to go around and try to exploit whatever glitch you find. On top of that, if it's a MMO or just a regular Multiplayer beta, you have a bunch of noobs just screwing around going "omg.. this is freaking awesome!! check this out" Now sure the game will probably crash or freeze up your system, but the pleasure of testing out a new game is exciting! Have you ever been in a beta??

Men, that Phil Harrison is just one cool cookie. Sony reps just have a cetain swager about them. They're confident and truly believe in their product. I just love them - Phil, Kaz, Kutaragi San, all of them are just on top of their game.

Sorry Staticneuron, I have been getting a lot of site errors when I try to access the forum. I havent' forgotten about you buddy Honestly, we just have a difference of opinion. While killer apps aren't the end all be all I think they are necessary to get a console attention. If you don't have any software variety, killer apps don't matter. Gears of War is a killer app. Now that the game has gotten MS and the 360 the desired attention , they are going to need to provide a variety of B+ or better games to keep the momentum going. If not the 360 could end up like the N64, which had a lot of killer apps but not enough software variety.

Lol its cool. To tell you the truth it was Dead rising that caught my attention, i guess that cold be a killer app. It didn't sell as much but it showed there was more to the 360 than shooters. Only time will tell
