Beta's are alot of fun... you basically get to go around and try to exploit whatever glitch you find. On top of that, if it's a MMO or just a regular Multiplayer beta, you have a bunch of noobs just screwing around going "omg.. this is freaking awesome!! check this out"
Now sure the game will probably crash or freeze up your system, but the pleasure of testing out a new game is exciting!
