Huh, yeah. Wasted money, huh? I have several games for my PS3 and have little desire to fire it up and play anything, including my most recent purchase, MGS4. Meh. Money wasted? Buying a console for nearly $500 only to find out the game you *thought* would stay exclusive to your system is now bound for a much cheaper system.

 The Xbox360 is only competing with Apple Imacs for the video creation market and Yamaha for the Japanese Karaoke market.

Whilst the PS3 is competing with the PS2 for the optical media format standard. Its a close battle, but I think the PS3 will have legs on the PS2 in that battle... It also has the arguably better format on its side, though some purists believe that the older "DVD" format offers better image quality.
