Jones - You don't need Xbox Gold Membership for Netflix. If you have your netflix subscription, that is all you need.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Wow! Last minute megaton announcement saves what would have been the worst E3 in history!

Agreed. Still, 2 minutes of greatness does not excuse 90 minutes of UNO rush.

I have to admit though, I had a good laugh when FFXIII was announced. Classic, Microsoft definitely gets Brownie Points for this one.

Oddly the Netflix thing interests me the most. I mean that basically covers the price of Xbox live itself.

Actually, you still have to be a member of NetFlix.

I wanna know if you have to be an XBL Gold member to use this feature.

My Top 5:

Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid 3, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Chrono Trigger

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.

Guys, IGN has stated that Final Fantasy XIII will debut simultaneously on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in Europe and North America. There is no mention of Japan. Is the game still Exclusive for Sony in Japan? It would make sense because the PS3 has the largest install base in Japan when compared to the Xbox 360.

Microsoft's conference was boring until this announcement but for some reason I'm more interested in Nintendo showing off the enhanced Wii remote and how it works.

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba

This is not confirmed, but according to Kotaku's live feed of the SE conference, FF13 will not be released in Japan on the 360.

Xbox 360 RPG console FTW

End of 2011 (made 02/01/11)

Xbox 360: 67.837 m
Ps 3: 60.726 m

Best Games/Serie of the Generation

I'm more happy that the PS3 fanboys won't be happy...call me sad but I love it...big middle finger going out to all those who gloated about all the great FF love PS3 was getting :)

What would be funny is if Nintendo also announced FF13 for Wii.

anyways, major props to MS to keeping this under wraps. I'm suprised they were able to keep this a secret and such a big one at that. MS isn't really known for keeping secrets :-p

The amazing thing was this wasnt on anyones cards at all. Not on any bingo predictions, any roundtable predictions on any website.

Yea MS cant keep a secret.....

VGC exploded.

Anyone think KH3 will hit the PS3 now? =P

360 being 2nd confirmed?

I think it actually raises the chances of that... since it shows SE is getting less afraid to make their huge games multi-plat.

Sony will have to pay an awful lot of money to keep it off the Wii after this. If anything, this raises the exclusivity bidding price.

This doesn't make sense. Why would Sony pay S-E to keep it off Wii? They might as well wait for M$ to shed the cash. If they couldn't stop S-E from releasing on x360, I doubt they're too concerned about the wii. My doubts now only lie in the quality of the game because no true FF has been multiplatform on launch before. We shall see!
