Forums - Nintendo Discussion - For Wii fans here, TimeSplitters 4 will be on PS3 not the Wii confirmed

Not surprisng, but a little disapointing and it makes me wonder how good the game will be ...

Much like Factor 5, Free Radical design was one of the top developers of the last generation and they have struggled to produce an adequate game for the HD consoles. Beyond that, I don't think that Free Radical can match the greatness of the other Timesplitters games while staying on budget ... The previous Timesplitters games had tons of of multiplayer modes and levels, and were just (amazingly) full of content; if you look at most HD games they tend to have a 6 to 10 hour single player campaign, a couple of multiplayer modes which each only have a couple of maps.

Ummm, it was confirmed multiplat an epically long time ago... PSW is not going to advertise it as "coming to 360, PS3, and Wii." So... phail much?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Well this doesn't confirm anything other than it will be on the PS3.

Almost guaranteed to be on 360 too.

As for Wii, they dropped a lot of hints and it's entirely possible for them to do a Wii version too but it's not discounted by this, although less likely. A shame.

You're thinking of Time Crisis. :)

As for the possibility of a Wii version: Free Radical was one of the few companies who gave decent support to the Gamecube last gen (making 'Cube versions of TS 2 & 3 and Second Sight), so it would make sense for them to make TS4 for Wii, even if they need to scale it down. I wouldn't worry too much.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

it would be good for it to be on wii,but i ouldnt mind to much if its not on wii

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

if they have been working on it since 2005, guess what,, they were planning on the "revolution"(Wii) bombing like Every Other 3rd Party Dev in Existance.... thus they were developing for what everyone Thought was going to be the #1 game console- the ps3..

yushire ::sigh:: where in the world is this confirmation that it won't be on Wii. ::shakes head:: I don't know why I even look at your threads anymore
