Indy Lego seems to be handily beating all other platforms including the PS2, so I wonder if the original author will acknowledge this fact.
Haha, yeah right. What am I thinking?

I sometimes wonder if Legend11 works for Microsoft. It would explain how he always tries to downplay poor 360 sales and hw problems and always posts the most negative stories about Nintendo and Sony he can find. A PR guy for Microsoft would never get any respect on these forums.. but stealth pr...
NPD works hand in hand with Game Informer. Game Informer is the most anti-Wii publication on the market. Their "compliments" are things like looks good for a Wii game. It gave NMH a 6 and Mario and Sonic a 4. That's all that I'm saying.

It's also producing HD content that runs up such a huge dev budget. You have to consider that when every texture, lighting effect, etc. has to be designed at 2X the standard resolution, you have a situation where devs need to spend a great deal more time paying artists to create these textures and effects. There's also the fact that the PS360 dev kits cost more. |
Yeah but those costs aren't fixed. What Bod was trying to say is that once you get past "cost" the extra copies help... at some point.
Assuming they get any of that extra revenue at 5 million.
So fixed costs are the only ones that matter in that case. Costs that make profits on one console less then the other. Like royalty per copy sold, blu-ray disc cost... etc.

But some of those ("niche game", "not enough marketing", "marketed incorrectly", "game is no good") are legitimate reasons for any good game to underperform, not just Wii games.
I never heard anyone use "Europe will save it", and "lower budget than an HD game" is true in virtually all Wii releases relative to their HD counterparts.
Anyways, to use this new bingo board would be cherrypicking in and of itself, as 3rd party games built from the ground up on Wii that are quality titles with a decent marketing budget will actually sell well.
I hope you don't anticipate using this board much because you'll be disappointed otherwise. There won't be too many opportunies where it'll be relevant at all. In fact, it's not even relevant now - it's applicable to absolutely no 3rd party Wii game on the market right now.

List all of those games, if you would. List all of the games built from the ground up for the Wii that sold lower than their expectations according to their publishers. How many games are on that list?
You stopped responding to my posts long ago.
Because if you didn't I would ruin your fun.
The Wii bingo list makes you angry because it marginalizes your Wii-hating talking points.
Therefore, your own version shall be great vengance.
You have no chance in a real argument with me. Avoidance is best.
