nothing wrong with multiple discs. i'd be a bit peeved if i had to pay $60+ for one disc.

Btw.....what special content is said to be on the discs other than the game?

If Halo 3 can accumulate just over 9 GB of space, imagine how much better a game could be if it took up 25 GB of space. More space leaves more room for improvement, in certain degrees. Blu-Ray discs have over 50 GB of space, which leaves even more room for improvement, in certain degrees.

I wouldnt mind 2 discs, but I do feel an explanation is in order

Bungie has already said on their website that the game is on ONE dvd. The other dvds are bonus material so I don't see what the big deal is. I mean this has happened in the past with other consoles and games (RE4 on Gamecube came with a bonus dvd for example and I don't remember people being up in arms about it).

I don't get it, for the people complaining did you actually want to spend an extra $150 so HD-DVD was integrated into the 360 from the get-go so that we don't have to swap dvds for the very few games (I can only think of 2 actually) that come on multiple dvds?
