PC or console? On PC I'd go for install everytime as 1tb drives are cheap as nowadays. On consoles I'd go disc with caching to HDD.

if disc swap. no install.
if install, no disc required. I hate that stupid DRM on PC spinning my disc for nothing. Not to mention I don't carry around the base for my laptop, so, I don't have a dvd drive and can't play on laptop without having the hassle of the disc drive.

i only limit my purchase for PC on games that don't require the disc to play nowadays, with few exceptions.

There are very few PC games that cannot be 'made' to run without the disc in the drive.

Definitely disc swapping. Storage space could go for something more useful (movies, music etc.)

I know, but it sucks to have to hunt down a crack...

It's easy to get your system infected too if you don't know what you're doing.

I'm assuming OP was talking about consoles here (i.e PS3's route VS 360's). I prefer disc-swapping, it's not a huge issue for me, I've been doing it for years on the PS1 and it never bothered me. I was a little annoyed about the DMC4 install though, but more to the fact that I sat through the same recap 3 or 4 times, If they had made it a thorough retelling and made it repeat once (so total of 2) that would be fine. I know I can switch channels and watch tv, but I think they could have put a little more effort in. Imagine if they put in a retro minigame (I think it was done on either Tekken 1 or 2) to kill some time, that would be awesome.

well, on the PC, disc swapping isn't as big of a deal, since the computer is usually right there to put the discs in and out of. but consoles tend to be further away, so it's more of a hassle to get up to take the disc out and put another in.

Personally, I still prefer full installs. i don't want to have to go rooting for multiple discs if I want to play a game. I just want to be able to play a game, and that's it. no fuss or hassle, I have space to spare, so I don't really mind

Seppukuties is like LBP Lite, on crack. Play it already!
