This is a good idea as well. It well help people see the better games on the platform.

Just wondering, but did you save those images from IGN and rehost them yourself? You could've just linked them straight from IGN, ya know. :P

For future reference (it will make things much easier), right click on whatever image from IGN you've got your eye on, and click on Properties. Under Image Properties, copy the url labeled "Location". Then come to this thread, and type this:

[img*]*insert URL here*[*/img]

...but remove the stars. :)

I just bought Call of Duty4 and I must say WOW. This is truly the best FPS I have ever played. (And I played a lot) I love the fact that you die after a couple of shots it gives you added incentive to play like they taught as at the army. Brilliant game. Everyone who doesn't have it yet and can tolerate genre and settings should get it.

Great idea for a thread. Not a very wide spectrum of games though. This thread really only appeals to 2 to 3 types of gamers. You might want to expand to more than three (2 of your 4 are a type of shooters) categories, Shooter, Adventure, Shooter, Racing.

What about Rhythm/Music (Singstar, GH3, Rock Band), Platforming, Puzzle, Arcade, DL PSN games, Fighting, Casual, RPG, JRPG, Casual, Flight, Sports, Stategy, Simulation, and Other (ie "Eye of Judgement")

EDIT: I see you left spaces for a few of these genres. Here's 3 great references from similiar "Guide" threads (2 for the handhelds on the market, 1 for the Wii). The first and third are put together much better than the second (just from an organization standpoint), but all 3 are great tools for those looking for a guide to the best games....
