Well I never would've imagined.. Last Night my aunt arrived from abroad and she handed me a box. I thought it was just an ordinary gift. I was expecting something ordinary like Chocolates or any other hometown snacks. I opened the box and there actually 2 boxxes. One was the one I was expecting which was snacks from my hometown but there was another box and it was a bit smaller, I looked at it and it was a DS lite. 

I'm actually dumbfounded as I don't know much about DS stuff. Any recommendations?

The usual suspects:New SMB,Mario Kart,Zelda,both Sonics,Animal Crossing,Mega Man ZX Advent,Prof. Layton.And in the near future RPGs like Soma Bringer,Kingdom Hearts,FFIV Remake,Blue Dragon,Sigma Harmonics,Sonic Chronicles etc.

Thanks for the advice! I'm not yet gonna buy games for it as I'm still broke from my last purchases. Anyway I hope more suggestions come in.

I'd recommend Elite Beat Agents and Contra 4. My favourite games on the DS by far.

Get the Ace Attorney-games. You won't regret it, probably the best purchases I've made. Other recommendations include Mario Kart DS, New Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and the Sonic Rush-games. They're all great, but in particular, try getting the Ace Attorney-games. They're amazing.

FFXii reveant wing if you like snes rpgs and rts games
the two Castlevania i prefer the first
If you have friends with a ds need metroid prime hunter and a bomberman for multi
If you like srpg buy luminus arc it´s very good with voice and anime desing
And the best for me hotel dusk for me the best adventure of point and click
Other than is good it´s eragon game it´s a mini zelda ocarine of time

EBA- is a good music/rhythm game that is very addicting
NSMB- is a great game everybody should play
Animal Crossing- great simulator
Zelda- incredible adventure game
