Yes and to your second thing. No and not a chance.

So let me recap. Nintendo owns the code and the IP for TW101. TW101 will come to PS4.

Nintendo (maybe) owns the code for Bayonetta 2, Sega owns the IP. Bayonetta 2 project was started on PS3 and X360, there are PS and XB versions of Bayonetta 2 in PG's computers. Bayonetta shipped 1m on PS4/XB1, Bayonetta 2 shipped 600K on WiiU/Switch and you think there is 0% chance for Bayonetta 2 to come to PS4. Is that right?

As long as Nintendo owns the rights to Bayonetta 2 then yes the chances are 0 and considering Bayonetta 3 is still in development and the fact that they actually funded a Bayonetta 2 Switch port that doesn't seem to be happening.

Give it up. Stop port begging. Buy the console it's on. 6 years later and people still have no clue. How many times must Platinum Game say if you want Bayonetta 2 on PS4? Ask Nintendo, while you are at it ask for Mario and Zelda. That's their words. That's how final that is. Get over it. It's not happening on PS4. They do, not a maybe. They are also part owners of the W101 IP. Astral Chain is also a Nintendo IP. It does not matter if there is a full game on an HDD out there of Bayonetta 2 for Xbox 360 or just a pixel. Nintendo now owns the code. Moto Kikaku can't take Strider games and put them on any system he wants them to. Capcom would still have to approve it no more than Capcom could make a new Strider game without approval from him. Where the hell can I pre-order W101 on PS4 because eBay and Amazon still only have it on Wii U. Huh. Wikipedia still lists Wii U only. Maybe you come from the dimension of the Bernstein Bears. We live in the one with the Berenstain bears and The Wonderful 101 is still on Wii U as of now and Bayonetta 2 is not coming to anything outside a Nintendo platform as long as they say so. Don't @Me because I'm tired of people's ignorance on this for the past half-decade.

Licensing out an IP to put it on a non-Nintendo platform doesn't sound like something that Nintendo would be okay with.

I'm kinda surprised I didn't realize that's what you were referring to. Didn't even try to think about it.
Maybe it's my neighbors being noisy. I'll use that excuse...

Yeah, it's easy to have that impression of Nintendo. I at least wouldn't expect it for a new game. But I wonder how they'd feel about an old game like Viewtiful Joe? I thought W101 was from around that generation, but I see now it's from WiiU, and that's relatively very recent.
So that makes it sound more doubtful.

In summary, we have a tweet from PG that shows Kamiya, a Switch and a TW101 hint, plus a post from the always sketchy 4chan (or some other chan) and a tweet from Robertson. The only thing of substance here might be Kamiya attempting to get people to talk about TW101 again in hopes that Nintendo greenlights a Switch port of the game.

At least this is one of those rumors that can be confirmed or debunked within a couple of days.

I'm not familiar with Robertson, or how likely it is that he'd have access to this information. Disregarding his tweet and the 4chan post though, it could be that W101 is already being ported to Switch. But that makes me wonder if Nintendo would be ok with Platinum spoiling the otherwise surprise of the announcement like this.

Liam is spotty. He is wrong 50% of the time and 50% time he gets some things right but it's never the full picture. I remember when he kept claiming Nintendo was not going to release Devil's Third in the west and maintained it until Nintendo announced and released Devil's Third in the west. He never says oops I was wrong. Just pretends like it never happened. His insight seems to be better on the development of past projects tho. He was good at getting a lot of info on Project Hammer on Wii.

Didn't Nintendo own the code for TW101? They created and published this IP

Besides, Bayonetta 2 PS4/PS5/XB1/XSX/PC would surely be profitable even with Sega re-starting from scratch. They just have to go this way.

Insiders on Resetera are saying that Nintendo sold the IP rights to the Wonderful 101 to Platinum

Mods sorry for the triple post. This will be the last.

Are these the same insiders that kept claiming Star Fox Grand Prix? When that site isn't offended nipples exist they seem to have a lot of fake inside info. Few things seem to stick.

Liam does seem to have reliable sources at Platinum, like he was one of the first if not the very first person to break the news of Scalebound's cancellation.

Do Playstation owners even want this game?

Doesn't it have too much colours?

Bold: If you take off your blindfolds for just a sec, you'll see plenty of colourful games that are popular on PS.

Some of my personal favourites:

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 1+2

Ratchet & Clank

Sonic/Crash racing

Tearaway Unfolded

Uncharted 4 multiplayer

Gravity Rush 2

Crash/Spyro trilogies

Rocket League

Rayman Legends

LittleBigPlanet 3

Astro Bot: Rescue Mission

This honestly seems both daft and a waste of time.

Was he the same one or was it someone else, I honestly can't remember who started the rumor that Scalebound was coming to Switch?

Liam was not the one, in fact he doubted that rumor a lot.

We have zero updated sales figures for Bayonetta 2, as of April 2018  the Wii U release sold almost 300k and the Switch version was almost at 400k.* This was over the same period, 3 months. The Wii U version sold 300k from its initial October 2014 release to January 2015.

http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2018/04/the_switch_port_of_bayonetta_2_has_outsold_its_sister_version_on_wii_u

That was after 3 months of being on the market. The Switch port has now gone through two holidays. It is safe to assume that the Switch version has most likely sold over 800k by now. But again, we have no updated sales figures so it's just guessing; however, it proves you did not do your research when making those numbers up. Combined, it is more than safe to say it has sold over 1m copies between Wii U/Switch.

We also do not have any sales figures anywhere that claims the Bayonetta port on PS4/XB1 shipped 1m. This website is not reliable when it comes to estimates, and it has been that way for years.
