I agree that 30$ is better but I was confused by the ending, thought it was 30$ for each DLC =p.

Sw/Sh have separate passes so you get specific content for the version of the game you have that's what its referring to not the content.

Yep. But you do get both areas for the $30, regardless of whether you have Sword or Shield. This made it look like Tunda would be exclusive to Shield, and Isle would be exclusive to Sword.

3rd versions include new gameplay features, remixed plots, more pokemon, new characters, new areas, new modes, QOL improvements

This really isnt all that different.

I looked over most of the improvements for these games. It really looks like just a bunch of minor improvements.

Explain to me then what is significantly different about this expansion compared to previous expanded versions.

There's nothing different. This expansion is par for the course. I never intended to give off the idea that it was any different.

Than I just dont understand the point of this reply:

"I never once bought the old 3rd versions, and never felt I was missing anything from them. I mean, what did Crystal, Platinum, Ultra, really add to the games? A new legendary, and a couple new pokes. Right? "

You originally said they are charging $30 for stuff you thought should have been in the base game then I pointed out how it's an improvement over the previous method then your response was that you never felt you were missing out by not getting the 3rd version which implies that you feel you are missing out by not getting the expansion.

I think they could make every pokemon on game ealisy, if wasnt things like pokecamp.
They have to program and model the interactions and animations for each pokemon in the game. Thats why they couldnt bring all of them by the SS release date.

Oh wow. I did not see that. Upon self reflection I think you're right. Some part of me is going to miss the new wild areas, and is upset that I'll have to shell out $30 for the damned thing (which is too fucking much). Even though I know full well that the damned Sword/Shield DLC won't be any bigger than any other 3rd version additions, something about new wild areas just tantalizes me.

Buy the expansion pass for $20 if that makes you feel better about it.

BotW expansion pass never went on sale. I'm assuming this never will either. :(

I don't understand the complaints really! Far better than having third version! Great dlc, great addition! Cant wait!!

It actually did back on Black Friday if I remember right.

But don't expect more than 30% slash from the price.

I have my email notifications setup for whenever an item on my wishlist goes on sale. Just searched through my email, and nothing about BotW came up. So unless you are referring to the European eShop, I know it was never on sale.
