Just bought 11 more games, those deals are too good for me to pass up.

MS should just buy Sega. Their stock price is soooo low. It’s just begging for a takeover with all their IPs.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

It’s the only way for them to make a big splash in Japan and the only realistic way as well, Getting Atlus and Team Yakuza would be amazing for me personally and it would make sense on the western front as well because MS would also get Relic and Creative Assembly for PC development(they need more PC focused titles for Gamepass PC.)

Xbox is done in Japan. They're better off refocussing with Xcloud.

If all Gamepass titles end up on there, they could really disrupt the market.

That’s why I mean I’m not talking about pushing console sales, they will need more Japanese games that will appeal to the tastes of that audience for Xcloud/Gamepass.

MS better not bother with Timed AAA Exclusives next gen unless it’s Indie games that release on Xbox 1st.

Agree, I don't like when Sony does it, I don't like when Microsoft does it and I also think it's a waste of money.

Yes, it really suck that Sony does it, but I guess that in this situation there is really no way for MS to not do it as well. It's not a waste of money because it works. IF people can play COD maps 30 days earlier on PS, they will choose Sony's console. They won't think about ho scummy that move is, all they will care about is that they can play the content on it's release date. My point is that MS should do 3rd party deals if Sony continues to do them as well. Just to be competitive. Also, it could be cheaper for MS, because they can buy only console exclusivity right now without locking PC platform from this content.

Can MS even buy Sega? Doesn't the Japanese government have laws against that?

Curious how Techland have delayed Dying Light 2 (Indefinitely), moved into a new building, are also working on a 2nd Open World Fantasy IP and have shut down their publishing division which only published a single title, Torment from InXile Entertainment.

Still I think 11 Bit Studios is the most likely Polish acquisition, especially due to Techland's huge size, just curious if all the money is coming only from Dying Light 1's sales.

Personally hoping that MS can get People can Fly myself.

If Techland runs into money problems then I can see them being a realistic target for MS, Wages in Poland are not that high especially compared to the UK where MS will have two Studios eventually pushing 300 Rare and Playground. If MS were to get Techland they would truly be the new kings of WRPGS challenging Bethesda and BioWare.

Thing is, People Can Fly are big too, 200+ staff with 3 studios across the world, Techland is another level, roughly 400 staff IIRC.

Just wondering if Techland really made enough profit on solely Dying Light 1 to move into a new studio and work on 2 AAA's at once, unless someone is publishing their 2nd one.

Tbh Microsoft is already going to be top of the WRPG genre with Obsidian and InXile alone, then there's also Playground but they've yet to prove themselves in RPGs.

Microsoft's largest acquisition thus far was Playground Games and even they weren't above 200 employees, plus they were a studio that has been working with Microsoft since their creation. Guess it depends on if Microsoft is going to stick with acquiring small-mid sized studios in groups or make one big splash before next gen starts.

Let's not get carried away now...maybe we can let MS publish one or two games that make them even remotely worthy of that title, before we put a crown on their head.

Lack of Halo news really sucks. Even though we've had 2 trailers we only know that it takes place after 5, you play as chief, and its gonna launch with the series X with a revamped engine. I'm craving Infinite info or trailers.
