everything points to Edge giving it a 1 or 2/10, so it was never going to hold on to the 85

I'm wondering why more sources don't rely more on GameRankings, they have a very strict vetting process for game reviews and I've looked to them more than Metacritic.
After watching the Danny O'Dwyer review, I think I get it why and how it can be boring yet for some still a masterpiece.
I think he nails it by using the word pilgrimage in his description and review. I'll leave the link if anyone wants to watch it.

Some reviews makes it sound like this is the video-game equivalent of Andy Warhol's movie Sleep.

I dont understand what you are trying to say, are you directing that at me or just in general? |
I quoted you, so yes it is about you.
You have entered several Metacritics of Sony games to first say that metascore doesn't mater, them to defend the bad scores some reviewers give (and say they aren't baiting for clicks or trolling the game), and also complain about people caring about the scores.
If not on a metacritic discussion of the game where else would be the place for people to discuss the reviews and scores the game receive? And why someone that doesn`t care about both scores and Sony exclusives would be in all these threads making basically similar comments in all of them?

What are you on about.. Discussing metacritic is fine but whinging that a game did not achieve masterpiece levels of praise is not, especally since no one has played the game yet, but expect to see 11/10s because its there favourite brand.
Do you disagree with me saying that gamers wont be happy unless there game is in the 90s and GOTY contender? Simple yes or no will do.
No need to derail this thread into some personal attack. I believe what i stated was quite fair and reasonable.
