Yeah great idea. Set up a second studio from the likes of naughty dog or SSM.

Quantic Dream did have job listings for PC development lately. It makes it likely that Sony arent renewing their contract after it ended with Detroit, due to all the drama surrounding the studio.

They asked everyone before Nintendo stepped in. You would think they don't ask Sony/MS to fund Bayo 2 when the first game was on ps3/xbox 360? Or they nearly cancelled the game then taking Nintendo help before asking Sony/MS?

Nowhere in that article or tweet from Kamiya does it state they 1) went to Sony or 2) they asked everyone. All kamiya said is that they offered it to various publishers.

Maybe Kamiya talked to Sony, but unless you have something better to go on your original comment is straight up wrong.

Sure, obviously they didn't ask Sony/MS and would have just cancelled Bayonetta 2 if Nintendo didn't step in. They took Nintendo funding before asking Sony/MS since Bayonetta 1 was on ps3/360 and both ver has sold over 1 million. But yeah, just cancel the game, oh wait, Nintendo - a publisher they have never ever thought about suddenly step in to help them while Sony/MS didn't know about all these things. Sound logical.

Too late, when Monolith was on sale in 2007, Sony did nothing but Nintendo stepped in and got them, even make them a lot bigger and more popular today. If you want to wish, you should wish for Sony that they can come back to the past.

Im sure nintendo regrets the wii U failure far more than sony regrets missing out on monolith soft so you can go wishing it was your favorite console that was at 85 million this generation too while your at it but nope lol need that time travel machine?

We are talking about which studio that Sony should acquire, why do you even bring Wii U and ps4 sales here? You mean Sony should acquire Wii U technology or something?

About as logical as your ability to reason.

No one said they didn't ask Sony/ MS, just that you have ZERO evidence that they did.

No one said that Sony/ MS didn't know, just that once again, you have ZERO evidence to prove that.

And so are you, but with Bayonetta 1 was on ps3/360 and sold 1 million both ver, then it should be safe to assume what happened. Or you think Platinum would beg Nintendo before asking Sony/MS?

I don't think Sony needs to, but if I have to choose, I'd say Atlus and other Japanese devs that make those anime RPGs. That could remove a lot of content from Nintendo's hands. Nintendo is already too strong in Japan and those devs could make a difference for Sony in Japan since PS Vita is gone.

Does sony even need to buy new studios? MS 1st party has been horrible since 2010, so they really needed the new studios.
